Highlights of our London Property Auction on 27th October 2016
Success Rate: 96%
Total Raised: £15,400,550
Another packed Auction room with standing room only at the back.
One of the highlights of the sale was Lot 16, the Freehold of 327 Euston Road, London NW1 3AD which we were instructed to offer, on behalf of Trustees, comprising a Ground Floor Restaurant with a Basement and a Flat above on the first and second floors.
This was the first time this well-located, striking pink building was offered for sale since 1954, when our clients originally purchased the property at a Hillier, Parker May & Rowden Auction.
The son of the late Auctioneer Ralph De Groot, the original purchaser, provided his 1932 Auction gavel for John Barnett to use on this lot.
Eventually, after 14 minutes and 26 seconds of exciting bidding in the room, the Lot sold for £1,505,000, from a Reserve below £1million.
Another highlight saw the sale of Lot 44 - The Freehold of 39a & 39b Stroud Green Road, Finsbury Park, London N4 3EF - a mixed commercial and residential building with development potential located on this very popular road. Almost 50 applicants registered online for legal documents and it sold for £905,000 well over double the Reserve of £400,000.
Our next sale is Wednesday 14th December - list still open - click here for a Free Appraisal.
